Unconditional Love
Julia Clement has a passion for foster parenting and begun the length process of becoming a foster parent a few years ago. Clement finally got the opportunity to fostering a baby girl named “Sunny” (name changed for safety). The following visual story shows an in-depth look at their early lives together.

Biological parents have the right to visitation with the child who is in foster care. Julia Clark, a single foster Mom, has a now one year old daughter, Sunny. Every week Julia writes down notes about Sunny's weeks to her biological parents. At visits Julia gives them the notebook and they can write in it too. Here is a note from Sunny's biological mom.

On December 13th, 2018, Julia plays with Sunny just after getting her up from her nap. Sunny giggles as she's lifted into the air.

Julia holds a sick Sunny and reads her a book. "She's been with me since she was a few days old, she is my daughter."

"That baby has been my baby since the moment I picked her up at the hospital". Sunny has been starting to try and walk but she's not quite got it down. Julia helps her to stand and walk in her room.

On December 13th, 2018, although sick, Sunny tries to eat her favorite snack after a little play time.

With Sunny feeling a bit better, Mom had some errands to run. With a short feeding in the back of the car between stores, Sunny waves "bye" to the car pulling out of the space next to them.

Julia gathering the essential groceries at Walmart with baby Sunny strapped on to her chest. "When I go out to shop I get some stares from others."

After a few hours of shopping, Sunny was worn out, falling asleep on the car ride home. Julia always gets her out of the car and into bed before getting the bags.

After a long day Julia puts Sunny down for a nap. "I don't think any parent is ready to be a parent. Theres a lot that goes into it." Julia loves Sunny like her own child and says the process is long, hard and heartbreaking.
