What drives me…
I am an exuberant video editor and producer. I have always wanted to find and share the most interesting experiences this world has to offer. I developed my own unique sense of storytelling driven by human connection while studying photojournalism at Rochester Institute of Technology.
There were a few key points in my development as a person and a journalist. Working with RIT’s coverage of Special Olympics taught me how to work under extreme deadlines, and how to work collaboratively with multiple different teams to showcase a multifaceted event. Creating my year long capstone through COVID-19 taught me how to be even more creative than any lecture I have ever sat through as well as how to still connect with my community during a time where being connected seemed impossible.
Being able to travel to places outside my comfort zone and experience what others experience every day is something I challenge myself to do and I look for opportunities to re-accomplish that goal everyday. My main focuses are videography/video editing, and short form multimedia storytelling, but I will always love the power of a photographic story.
